Introduction
Interpersonal relationships are based on several factors. Among these are similarity, physical appearance, and reciprocity. Quite often, romantic attraction is based on similarities between ourselves and those we are attracted to. Whether it is height, weight, income, education, or any other factor,; it often these characteristics which spark an attraction. Of course, physical attractiveness plays its part, as well. Although each culture has its own standards of beauty, these standards are more closely linked than it may first appear. Finally, there is reciprocity. In general, we are often attracted to those who seem to reciprocate and display attraction toward us.
