Summary Introduction

Case summary:Person C purchased a secondhand car from person A and signed a warranty disclaimer that the vehicle was sold as is. On the same day of purchase, problems with the car started. The person A tried to repair it but after few more efforts refused to do so. C received a vehicle history report from company CF according to which the car previously had been impaired in a mishap. There were also discrepancies in the odometer reading of the car. Therefore, the person C filed a suit against the person A for breaching the warranty.
