Amino acids are organic compounds containing carboxyl (COOH) and amine (-NH2) functional groups, along with a side chain specific to amino acids. The main element of amino acids are carbon (C), hydrogen (H), oxygen (O), and nitrogen (N), but some amino acids also contain sulfur (S). Amino acids are the monomer unit of proteins.

Reason for correct option:

The interaction of hydrogen bonding between amino acid chains is very weak. A hydrogen bonding is electrostatic in nature and it shows features of dipole-dipole interaction. Hydrogen bonding occurs between an electron-deficient hydrogen atom and an electron-rich lone-pair donor, such as a nitrogen atom. Electron-rich lone-pair donor has a partial positive charge, while the acceptor has a partial negative charge, so they attract. However, electrons between them aren’t exactly “shared,” as in the case of covalent bonds. Hence, it would be easily overcome by transferring the electrons back to the original atom.
