Explanation

Draw the isometric view of the object using the steps as follows:

Step 1:

  • Obtain the width and depth axes by making 30° angle with horizontal.
  • Obtain the height axes by making 30° angle with horizontal or 60° angle with both width and depth axes.
  • Draw a line 1-2, 1-3, and 1-4 by measuring the dimensions of width, height, and depth of the object.

Sketch the width, depth, and height axes as shown in Figure 1:

     

Step 2:

  • Construct the top, front, and side work surfaces by drawing the parallel lines.
  • Draw a line 2-5 and 4-6 parallel to line 1-3
