Introduction: The immune system of the body protects  the body from the harmful foreign substances that are called antigens. There are some antigens, which the immune system overreacts and generates an immune response such as itching, coughing, and sneezing. Such antigens are called allergens because these antigens are responsible for producing allergies in the body.

Explanation of Solution

When an allergen enters into the body for the first time, the B-cells get activated. The B-cells activate and trigger the production of IgG, but in the case of allergens, the B-cells trigger the formation of IgE antibodies. During the second exposure of antigen, IgE antibodies bind to the allergen and trigger the release of mast cells and histamines. These substances generate an inflammatory response that causes the deposition of fluid in the tissue...
