Introduction:
Viruses are classified on the basis of their genetic material into DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA viruses. DNA viruses are those in which the DNA acts as genetic material while RNA viruses have RNA as the genetic material. RNA viruses can either replicate their RNA or convert it into DNA.
