Interpretation: The validation of the fact that bioorganic substances are much more abundant than bioinorganic substances concerning human body composition, in terms of mass percent has to be stated.
Concept introduction: The chemical substance found in the living organism is called biochemical substance. The biochemical substance is further subdivided into bioinorganic substance and bioorganic substance. Bioinorganic substances do not contain carbon, for example water and inorganic salts. On the other hand bioorganic substances contain carbon, for example lipids and carbohydrates.
