The products of given acid-base reactions should be determined.
Concept Introduction:
Acid and base react with each other to form salt and water. This reaction is called as neutralization reaction. Amino acids are the organic molecules with −COOH and −NH2 group in same molecule. Here −COOH is acidic group and −NH2 is a basic group. Hence one group act as an acid and give H+ ion and another will accept H+ and act as base.
