3) Leading zeros (left side zeros) are not significant.

ex: In 0.00245 there are three significant digits.

4) Zeros that are right side of a decimal are significant.

ex: In 0.00240   there are three significant figures.

5) Zeros that are right side of a number and without a decimal are not significant.

In 200 there is only one significant figure.
