• A business should develop its IT infrastructure using a 21^st-century strategy since information technology is evolving constantly.
• If this approach is not taken, then the business will adopt outdated technology which is not compatible with the current industry standard.
• In the long-run, the antiquated technology will always lead to more problems than what it can solve.
• At the same time, if the latest approach cannot be implemented then it will expose the business to weaknesses which can be exploited by the competitors.
