Write the Pythagorean Theorem formula for a right triangle.

To determine

Pythagorean Theorem formula.

Explanation

Pythagorean Theorem:

As per the Pythagorean theorem, for a triangle having one of the angles as 90 degree, the addition of squares of two smaller sides becomes equal to the square of the largest side of the triangle.

In other words, in a right-angle triangle two sides are perpendicular to each other i.e. angle between them is 900. One angle is right angle and sum of other two angles is 900. Right angle sides are known as base and perpendicular and the other side is called hypotenuse. Sides of right-angle triangle are calculated by Pythagorean Theorem. It states that the sum of the squares on the two sides of a right-angle triangle is equal to the square of its hypotenuse...
