Steps for the addition of two unlike signed numbers:

1). Determine the difference of their absolute values.

2). If absolute value of positive number is greater than the negative number; a positive sign may or may not be used before the result.

3). If absolute value of negative number is greater than the positive number; a negative sign is used before the result.

Consider the provided expression:

Add the positive numbers.

(6)+(+5)+(8)+(+4)=(+9)+(6)+(8)
