Yes, the magnetic dipole antenna should be aligned with the magnetic field of the wave to get better reception. The plane of antenna should be perpendicular to magnetic field to maximize the rate of change of flux.

Explanation of Solution

In electric dipole antenna, better signal reception will take place if it is aligned with electric field of the wave. If the wave is not parallel to antenna, only component of electric field that is parallel to the antenna contribute to oscillating current. In such case, current and emf will be reduced by factor of cosθ, where θ is the angle between electric field and antenna. No oscillating current occurs if electric field is perpendicular to antenna.

In similar way axis of the loop of the antenna should be aligned with magnetic field of the wave. Induced emf produced in antenna makes an alternating current flow in antenna. The induced emf is produced by the changing magnetic flux associated with antenna due to oscillating magnetic field of the wave. To get maximum rate of change of flux, the plane of antenna should be perpendicular to magnetic field. Therefore, to induce maximum current in antenna, axis of loop should be aligned with magnetic field.
