Chapter 23.2, Problem 3MI
Summary Introduction
The hemolysis is the red blood cells breakdown or blood breakdown. There are three types of hemolysis that include alpha, beta, and gamma. Hemolysis is particularly helpful in categorizing the species of streptococcal. Hemolysis also helps to describe the hemolytic bacteria. Hemolysin is the protein or a substance generated by the Streptococci species which disrupt the red blood cell membrane and cause hemolysis.
