The “invisible man” would be unable to see because he allows the light to pass through uninterruptedly and no light is absorbed by the retina.
Explanation of Solution
An “invisible man” is unable to see because he allows the light to pass through uninterruptedly just like a light passes through thin air. If some of the incident light is deflected or absorbed, then the person will see the effect and the person will no longer stays invisible. The person would be visible only if some incident light is absorbed by the retina. This creates a hindrance in the path of light and thus the invisible man seems visible.
Conclusion:
Therefore, the “invisible man” would be unable to see because he allows the light to pass through uninterruptedly and no light is absorbed by the retina.
