Given:

Time = 24hours.

The amount of technetium =1.0μg.

The half-life of technetium-99 is 6.01hours (Constant).

The half-lives =Tt1/2

=246.01=3.99 4 Half-lives

Now calculate the mass remains after 24 hours,
