Introduction:

Gymnosperms are the group of plants, which do not produce fruits or flowers. They make up a major portion of the flora on the earth, consisting mainly of large-sized trees. They are broadly divided into four groups: cycads, ginkgoes, gnetophytes, and conifers. Gymnosperms are known to be the club of seed-generating plants.
