Introduction:
Bud scale scar are the scars that remain after the bud scales fall off. It is usually formed when the leaf falls off and is leaf scar while bundle scars are broken ends of vascular bundles passing from stem to leaves. Bud scales protects newly formed leaves and helps in branch growth. It forms at the end of growing season once the leaves falls off. Therefore, bud scales form in preparation for both new leaves and for extension of stems growth.
