The x component of the car’s average acceleration is,

• vx,f is the x component of the final velocity
• vx,i is the x component of the initial velocity
• Δt is the time taken

Substitute 25.0m/s for vx,i , 0m/s for vx,f and 6.00s for Δt .

aav,x=0m/s25.0m/s6.00s=4
