Explanation of Solution

According to Ampere’s Law, the line integral of magnetic field about a closed loop is equal to the total current passing through that surface. For hollow conductor the value of the current passing through the hollow space inside the conductor is zero, thus the value of the magnetic field density inside the hollow conductor is zero.

For the case of magnetic field density outside the hollow conductor the value of the current passing through the surface is equal to the current through the hollow conductor that is non zero, thus the value of the magnetic field density outside the hollow conductor is non zero...
