Expert Solution & Answer
Check Mark
To determine

The grade of fuel oil consider as heating oils.

Explanation of Solution

Fuel oil is the other term used for fossil fuels, natural gas etc. Fuel oil can be considered as the combination of liquid hydrocarbons having chemical combinations of hydrogen and carbon. Some fuels have heavy hydrocarbon and some have very light hydrocarbons.

Fuel has many applications as in transportation, electricity generation, heating systems, cooking etc. Fuel oil is produced from the crude oil which is mined from the ground by the help of distillation.

There are generally six grades of fuel based on their weigh per gallon. The grades are identified by the numbers from 1 to 6. 1 is designated to the fuel which has less weight per gallon and it is considered as light fuel. The weight of fuel is defined by its carbon content. Light fuels have low carbon content.
