Introduction:

Primary growth produces root and stem systems in a seed plant. The secondary growth produces tissues such as wood and bark that increases the girth of roots and stems of the plant. The vascular cambium gives rise to secondary growth in stems. The vascular cambium is formed from the vascular bundle that consists of undifferentiated cells between primary xylem and phloem.
