Each and every tissue in a plant cell is specialized for a different function. The ground tissues are formed by the ground meristem. The majority of the plant body is made up of the ground tissue systems except for the epidermis and the vascular bundles. It is the largest and the most comprehensive system that starts from the layer next to the epidermis and continues until the center of the organs in the cylindrical body.
