Explanation of Solution

The nurse should develop a caring relationship with the patient and she should have a frequent conversation with the patient. The nurse should also mention the patient’s desire, achievements, and priorities. Make the patient get more emotional that they would open-up their grief and tell what they were through. Mrs. A might state that doctor say that would have cancer and she is not willing to find out from the test and she also states that her time is over and she willing to join with her late husband.

Conclusion

The grieving of the patient might be based on her disease or it can be an anticipatory grief to die and leave her loved one behind.
