Summary Introduction

To idenify: The plastids that contain more of the enzyme Rubisco.

Introduction: The rate of photosynthesis in plants increases with the increase in CO₂ concentration. This process keeps on going until rubisco has become fully saturated with CO₂. The plants present in arid and hot regions use CO₂ through an adaptation called C₄ photosynthesis. The internal structure of the leaves of C₄ plants helps in efficient utilization of CO₂.
