Chapter 39, Problem 1RQ
To determine
The types of pipe for carrying natural gas
Expert Solution & Answer
Explanation of Solution
Natural gases are transported by copper pipes. These copper pipes come in several varieties. To transport natural gas, copper pipes of the G type are utilised. They have a yellow colour.
In addition, they are used to carry liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The G-type copper tube's straight and coiled lengths are 9.5 to 28.5mm and 9.5 to 22mm respectively.
