Question
Chapter 4.1, Problem 1BYGO
Summary Introduction
To describe:
The requirement of reducing the number of chromosomes to half at the time of gametogenesis.
Introduction:
The gametogenesis is the process of formation of the haploid gametes in the sexually reproducing organisms. The human male gamete is sperm and the process of production of sperm is known as the spermatogenesis. The female gamete is known egg or oocyte and the process of egg production is known as oogenesis.
