a. Oil pump

b. Governor

c. Apply circuits

d. All of the above

To determine

The systems in which problem occurs when pressure reading levels is not matching.

Explanation of Solution

Given information:

Pressure reading reveal possible problems in which of the following:

  1. Oil pump
  2. Governor
  3. Apply circuits
  4. All of the above

This test includes three gauges for measuring pressure at different position in the hydraulic circuit. While running a pressure test, the pressure should not drop more than 15 psi between shifts.

When the cause of transmission problem is not identified after running a road test or by inspection, the vehicle needs to be diagnosed for pressure test. It is done to measure the pressure of different fluid circuit. Generally, all pressure lines are equipped with a pressure tap which helps in connecting the pressure measuring devices. This test is conducted by the help of three pressure gauges. The vehicle is run through a road test in which the reading of three gauges are noted down. This data can be used for indicating the operating condition of the transmission...
