Chapter 49, Problem 7TYK
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
If fertilization has not taken place, the fully developed endometrium falls and is shed off. This is controlled by hormones, which govern the formation of the endometrium, ovulation, and another phenomenon. This is known as the monthly cycle, which has the ovarian and the menstrual cycle. The ovarian cycle includes the ovulation process while the menstrual cycle includes the menstruation or shedding of the endometrial lining.
