Formula used:

The pascal’s triangle formula is:

(nk)=n!k!(nk)!=n(n1)(nk+1)k(k1)1

Calculation:

For an integer k and a real number n, to show the given formula.

(nk)=(n1k1)+(n1k)                                                                            (i)

From equation (i) first use the formula of left-hand side value:

(nk)=P(n,k)k!=nP(n1,k1)k!

And for the right-side of the equation (i) value (n1k1) is:

(n1k1)=P(n1,k1)(k1)!=kP(n1,k1)k!

And for the right-side of the equation (i) value (n1k) is:

(n1k)=P(n1,k)k!=(nk)P(n1,k1)k!

So, put the value of the (n1k1) and (n1k) in (n1k1)+(n1k).

(n1k1)+(n1k)=kP(n1,k1)k!+(nk)P(n1,k1)k!=P(n1,k1)k!(k+nk)=nP(n1,k1)k!

Therefore, (nk)=(n1k1)+(n1k).

Hence proved the Pascal's formula by replacing the values of the binomial coefficients.
