Explanation of Solution

System Context:

It is important to model the system context because context models will show the environment which includes several automated systems. These models will help to get a clear view of the system that has to be developed and several other systems involved.

Errors:

The two possible errors that could arise if software engineers do not understand the context of the system are as follows:

• The software engineers may miss some functionality that has to be included for coordinating with automated systems.
• From the actual functionality, the design and development of the system must be deviated as some requirements may not be known properly.
