Role of inhibiting enzymes in preventing the sensation of pain.

Introduction:

The enzyme is inhibited by an inhibitor. The function of the inhibitor is to decrease the activity of the enzyme. The inhibition of the enzyme has various benefits. Inhibition of enzyme can kill pathogens and correct the metabolic pathways. Many drugs are enzyme inhibitors. When an inhibitor binds to the enzyme then the substrate is not able to bind to the enzyme. The reason for this is either the active site is occupied by the inhibitor or active site’s confirmation is altered.
