Question
Chapter 53, Problem 16TYU
Summary Introduction
To determine: The country among Bolivia and Austria that will have the highest growth rate in the next two decades. If in Bolivia 35% of the population is younger than age 15 and 5% is older than 65 and in Austria, 14% of the population is younger than 15, and 18% is older than the 65.
Introduction: Population growth refers to an increase in the number of individuals in a given area over a given period of time. The population growth takes into account the birth rate and the death rate as well.

The graph shows the world human population size and growth rate over time. How are the two sets of data related to each other? What does studying one data set tell you about the other?
Use the graph to answer this question:
In which year, 1900 or 2010, did more people due in total in the United States?
Draw a graph of logistic growth. Label the point at which the resources for the population cannot support exponential growth .
