Question
Chapter 5.4, Problem 6CC
Summary Introduction
Endocytosis is an important cellular mechanism in which various substances enter into the cell. Mammalian cells contain various types of endocytic pathways such as phagocytosis, clathrin-dependent endocytosis, and caveolin-dependent endocytosis. All pathways are involved in the generation of an endocytic vesicle. The vesicle containing substances are delivered to the lysosome for degradation.
