If all the nondisjunction events leading to Turner syndrome were paternal in origin, what trisomic condition might be expected to occur at least as frequently?

Summary Introduction

To describe: The trisomic condition might not occur frequently if all the nondisjunction events, leading to Turner syndrome, were paternal in origin.

Introduction: Nondisjunction is an error which usually occurs during the cell division. This results in the chromosomal abnormality. Abnormalities in the number of chromosomes and chromosome structural rearrangements can lead to the chromosome disorders. Even the small segments of chromosomes can span many genes because the chromosomal disorders are characteristically dramatic and often fatal.

Explanation of Solution

Turner syndrome is monosomic, where one chromosome is lacking 45(22+X). The paternal nondisjunction can lead to the gamete lacking a sex chromosome, which causes the Turner syndrome. Another gamete has an extra sex chromosome, which after fertilization, leads to the Klinefelter syndrome 47 (22+XXY)...
