Explanation of Solution

The age structure of a population is the percentage of males and females in young, middle, and older age groups in the population. Age structure predicts the increase or decline in the population of a country. The three age categories in a population are pre-reproductive, reproductive, and post-reproductive. The percentage of people under age 15 in Country A is more than that of Country B. As a result, the country will experience rapid population growth unless the death rate increase sharply. There will be an increase in per capita resource utilization and a larger total and per capita ecological footprint.

Human activities will alter the natural systems and ecosystem services to meet the increasing needs of the growing population in the following ways:
