Interpretation:
The reason for liquid in one container evaporates at a faster rate than liquid in other container when both are in same temperature on a table top has to be mentioned.
Concept Introduction:
Evaporation is a process in which the molecules escape from the liquid phase to the gas phase. According to Kinetic molecular theory an evaporation can be explained as, not all the molecules present in a liquid or solid or gas possess the same the same kinetic energy and at any instant, some of the molecules may have above average kinetic energies and other may have below average kinetic energies as a result of collision between molecules. The molecules overcome attractive forces with other molecules.
