Question
Chapter 7.3, Problem 1TC
Summary Introduction
To explain: The way in which the levels of RuBP and G3P in a leaf are changed during the night after measuring their levels in the morning.
Introduction: The light-independent reactions of photosynthesis are called as the Calvin cycle. Carbon is taken from atmospheric carbon dioxide and is used to convert ribulose bisphosphate (RuBP) into glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate (G3P). Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) are formed during the light reactions and are used to reduce carbon dioxide into carbon sugars.
