Analyzing for ( S2 ) ions: When sulfur (S) forms an ion, it gains two electrons it is respective shells, usually (S2-) ions repel each other all the other electrons of the same principal energy level, hence this is the largest ions when compare to other ions. So this ion will not consider a common ion.

The option (d) has not the formula for a common ion, because this ions size will be largest when compare to other ions.

Analyzing for ions (a) and (c): The both (Cl-) and (O2-) ions, it gains an electrons from outermost electron shell, so these molecule size will be increased (see the figure 1) and both are common ions.
