Two-dimensional arrays:

• • A two-dimensional (2D) array can store multiple collections of data.
• • It contains rows and columns of elements.
• • In two-dimensional array, normally the first subscript is called as row size and the second subscript is called as column size.
• • The format to declare the two-dimensional array is given below:

dataType[,] eleName= new dataType [row_size, column_size];

• • Where,
  • ○ “dataType” indicates the type of data such “int”, “double”, “string”, and so on.
  • ○ “eleName” indicates the two-dimensional array variable.
  • ○ “row_size” indicates the size of row.
  • ○ “column_size” indicates the size of column.
