Hash function:

Hash function is a function used to generate fixed length output from given arbitrary data. The value returned from hash function is known as “message digest”. It use the mathematical function for the conversion.

Properties of hash function:

• Easy to compute the hash value from given data.
• The hash value may have two slightly different messages.
• It uses all the input data and generate the various hash values for similar inputs.
