Database Management:

Cardinality refers to number of possible links of one table with another table. Cardinality is used to provide linkage between database tables.

Many-to-many cardinality (M: M): In this type, probability of occurrence of either side of the inventory is many. For example, relationship between inventories and vendor can be depicted by this cardinality. Where, vendor can provide various types of inventories; similarly; a type of inventory can be purchased from various vendors.
