Therefore, the result of the conversion is 1.456 Cal.

b) 450 cal to joules

The conversion of cal into joules is as follows:

1 gram calorie=4.18 joule

E= (given cal×4.18 J1 cal)(450 cal×4.18 J1 cal)=1.88×103 J

Therefore, the result of the conversion of 450 cal to joules is 1.88×103 J.

c) 20 kWh to calories

The conversion of kWh into calories is as follows:

1 Kilowatt hour=3.6×106 joule
