It is required to access my school’s home page; surf the website and locate information about my department.

Explanation of Solution

The homepage of my school website contains an introduction of my school and different tabs each of which take the user to different sets of information. One tab contains details of the departments in our school, another about the faculty and another contains a gallery of events that have happened so far in our school. There is also a search bar on the top most portion of the website that allows the user to look for a particular page using certain keywords.

Step 1: On opening the home page, I looked for the tab that led me to the departments tab.

Step 2: I navigated to the departments tab. It took me to a page that listed all the departments in our school, such as English, Hindi, Math’s, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Accountancy, Biology, History, Computer Science, etc.

Step 3: Since I belong to the Computer Science department, I clicked on that link which led me to further details about our department and the facilities available, including the lab facilities and the details of the teaching faculty associated with our department.

Thus, the presence of different tabs and the corresponding links that were relevant to each tab made this navigation easy for me.

Conclusion:

I was thus able to access my school’s home page; surf the website and locate information about my department successfully.
