Claustrophobia is the fear of being in a constricted, closed area or in a congested place. However, to be more in depth, it is an anxiety disorder and in social situations can possibly result in a panic attack. It can be initiated by circumstances such as crowded elevators, bare places, and even restricting clothing. A certain study confirms that 5–7% of the global population suffers from this severe disorder. I personally experienced certain symptoms and cannot handle the anxiety it brings me.
