We made it through alive! Welcome family and friends to Gunderson High School’s class of 2018 graduation. As a class, we have gone through many ups and downs together. High school is for making unforgettable memories, and that is exactly what we did the past four years. Even though this may seem like the end, it is just the beginning of a new adventure. Whether it is jumping straight into work or a career, community college, a four year university, the army, we are all going to be doing amazing things
This school year at Water of Life Christian School has been amazing. Being a student at Water of LIfe. Throughout the school year, I made memorie through school with people who've left an impact on me and have grown. This school year has been amazing and filled with many highs and specific things we’ve worked on. Some of the highs from this school year were some of the field trips we took. In the beginning of the school year, we went to Hume Lake which was a fun time deepening my relationship with
High School: The Early Years My early years of high school were the greatest years of my life. High school came with a lot of new things, varsity sports, driving, and even spending more time out with friends. Even though most of these things are everyday normal activities now, they were brand new to me in my early years. I discovered and made routine of many new things throughout my first three years of high school. School work, activities, and even sports were entirely different in high school compared
Throughout my time growing up I have had a lot of people tell me that high school will be the time of your life. In many ways it is. High school for me would be described as fun, thrilling, exciting, hard-working, and some very exhausting years of my life. My years at Millry High School have not been too long compared to others, however my memories are of great lengths. During my time as a high school student, I have tried to become a fairly active student. Participating in Bible club, drama club
Low achievers should not be in the same classroom as high achievers. Low achievers tend to have learning disabilities and all the things that come with them, such as frustration and struggles with remembrance. Students with learning disabilities struggle academically. Students with these conditions are receiving their education in the same classroom as high achievers and are being expected to keep up. This is not logical and that is the same reason why some students struggle with learning and completing
special someone in their life, someone that they trust and is always there for them. For me there is one person in particular that has had a profound impact on me; my high school soccer coach, Mr. Barrington. He is a great friend and mentor who was an influential part of my high school years and continues to be today. We share many memories both on and off the soccer field. These remembrances, whether good or bad have been worth it because no matter what the outcome Mr. Barrington always sees the bright
Later School Start Time and its Impact on Adolescents It is no secret that, similar to other animals, sleep is one of the most important things for a human being’s overall health. According to Watson and Breedlove, there are four main biological/neurological functions of sleep: energy conservation—the body uses less energy when it is asleep through what is called slow-wave sleep (SWS) by doing things such as reducing body temperature and slowing respiration; niche adaptation—the environmental happenings
childhood author Dr. Seuss once said, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” We gather here today to celebrate this moment of graduating from Sutton High School. Although this day will soon become a distant memory, the valuable moments that this class of 2016 has experienced are unforgettable. From the very first moment we walked through the high school doors, to the last time we shut our lockers for good, we all have to face a truth, whether we want to or not
your adventure through high school your mind begins to grasp the darkness this world has to offer. Remember that at the end of the path it’s the choices you make and don’t make that will determine what will be at the end of the trail. You are fifteen now my grandson and I know from experience that the evil of this world has already presented itself to you in many forms. Alcohol, drugs, and drama are all a part of life and what many go through including myself. The high school is full of new experiences
As a student, I think I am an extravagant, hard worker. I think school is ennui ,but I still get a 3.8 gpa or higher on average every year. Not only do I do laborious work I work hard on the soccer field because it gives me more of a personal drive. I do all of this just for my grade because I know that my grade will determine how my life will be in the future. Also, I want to make many memories in high school with friends. And my mom would say the same thing. My mom is proud of me as a student
