During the break I visited Kennesaw Mountain National Battle Field Park where I learned more about the history of Georgia, more specifically of Kennesaw, Georgia. This site pertained information about the Civil War and the two major battles that occurred in this area, which are the Chickamauga and Ringgold Gap during 1864. The site offered a walk through Museum that was in chronological order that broke down the series of events that lead to war and other mishaps along the way. They also offered

ten minute intermission. This non ticketed event was held at Morgan Hall in the Bailey Performing Arts Center on Kennesaw State University’s Kennesaw campus. The program consisted of three unique musical pieces performed by the renowned Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Before the concert began, I was able to observe the audience members outside of the entrance doors. Unlike the other Kennesaw State concerts that I attended, there was an extremely large and diverse crowd dressed formally. The doors opened
how he feels the gun law passed in Kennesaw, Georgia is a childish and impractical one. This law, which was passed in the early 1980s, requires all citizens to have a gun and ammunition in their homes. The first example demonstrated is the utilization of diction. In his article, Royko uses words such as “obvious,” blazing away,” and “meet his maker” which expresses a childish and satirical attitude toward the subject. This shows that Royko didn’t take the Kennesaw gun law seriously and felt that it
While I researched different colleges, I found that there were a lot of differences between them. Some colleges are are 4-year commitments and some are only 2 years. While one college may only offer a masters and bachelors degree in one major, another college may only offer an associate's. College is very expensive and tuition is rising dramatically each year which is why I would also like to join the Navy and get a free education. Although I would have to go to a college that offers NROTC in
gifted me with new opportunities and experiences. Enrolling in an American institution for the first time was a life-altering experience but not one without its challenges. Although I lived in Paulding County, I had to attend a Cobb County school in Kennesaw because my stepmom was unwilling to take responsibility for my transportation. As a result, every morning I would wake up at 5.00 am so that my dad and I could leave to arrive at my school and his place of employment punctually. During my first year

Arius said “Oh my God, we have to go! This guy is funny and he is always on Saturday Night Live.” While she is having over there having a heart attack, I’m sitting there trying to figure out who

My name is Courtney Torok and I am currently a senior here at Kennesaw State University. I am graduating this December with a degree in psychology. I am originally from Michigan and moved down here to Georgia with my family just before starting at Kennesaw State University. I started off majoring in chemistry with the intent of applying to some kind of medical program, but eventually found that my passion was psychology. I have always wanted to work in the “helping” field. After graduating, I plan
