We live in America, a country that is rather prosperous in comparison to many other countries in the world. In order to get to where this country is today wars were started, people enslaved, and countries exploited. The greater majority’s happiness was derived from another humans suffering. This has occurred throughout the majority of human history and continues into today's society. While we may see this as the wrong way to live we don’t mind sustaining our prosperity. As American citizens we are respected more not on our accomplishments but on the color of our skin and it’s not right. The idea that even in a murder trial, when it came down to it, the judge would not respect a non white as a witness to the court. It wasn’t even until 1990 when they were given a chance to be permanent residency, which wasn’t an easy feat either,

It is not because I do not believe in myself. It is just the fact that these films were the first of it’s kind. They have techniques that were state-of-the-art. Those very same techniques are considered the standard by today’s measures. I bring this up because when comparing these two films, I found myself engulfed with the elements that made
by fellow Dead Shed workers, and everyone was being more friendly toward me than usual. Adding to the strange vibes, when I got home my dad had parked outside of his normal place, in the middle of the driveway. As I walked in, all of the lights in our house were on, and my dad sat alone in the living room. I approached him even though his face was scaring me.
