Process Paper Essay

This final paper was definitely challenging like you mentioned it would be. I read over “Shooting an Elephant” several times, and took away a little something different each time. I really had to analyze with in myself and my reactions to what was happening. It was not very easy as some of my own biases, that I was not even aware of, kept me from broader thinking. Biases including outcome bias, stereotyping, herd instinct, and supportive bias. Some of the sentences I read over and I did not think

of rules for every thing we write. This is one downfall for high school English. We have to order our papers in a specific sequence while writing about a topic that is chosen for us. This English composition class changed all of that. We were able to write about anything that related to the given type of essay, which greatly improved our ability to fully immerse ourselves into every paper. This greatly affected my writing thoughts about writing; they changed from hating to write for school to

a free writing method by writing anything that comes to mind. Most individuals prefer to organize a brainstorming map to organize their thoughts and ideas, but my ideal approach is to print any thought that reaches the surface during the writing process. Once my brainstorming approach has been exhausted, I reflect upon the ideas that were written and shape an organized piece of writing. In addition, I also attempt to incorporate various styles of writing into the work that is being created. Styles

did the minimum amount of work for the paper. I didn’t start the assignments until either the night before it was due. As I got older I would type the paper on my phone in school that day then print it off in the library moments before class.
