Although my MOI group had a lot of

Different people take on different roles and I think this made some stand up to show their leadership and others show how they follow. This is a good way to sum up how people will act in working groups as well

It was a breezy November day. Our school was on our way, heading to the Pine Lake Challenge Course in Bristol, Ct, a ropes course designed to challenge students to work together to overcome a challenge and accomplish a goal. As my friends and I were talking on the bus, we all thought there was no point in going to the course and that this was going to be a waste of time. Our class has a lot of loud, opinionated people and “always right people” so I thought we were going to get nowhere. When we arrived

´´A little bit,´´ She replied. ´´It really isn't that bad.´´ That didn't make me feel any better. My stomach felt like a swarm of bees, and I felt like I was going to be sick. If only she had known that the high ropes course was a huge challenge and that it was a series of wobbly ropes and wood planks. The line started to move again and I climbed up the last flight of stairs. Suddenly, I remembered last year when I was first trying the zipline, I was standing in this exact spot thinking the exact

positive and just think about the zip line that awaited me at the end of the high ropes course.         It was August 4, 2016 my fifth day at camp and I had been having an amazing week. We’d been doing lots of fun activities like swimming, horseback riding, and making s’mores. I wondered what exciting activity we’d be doing that evening when our counselor announced that our cabin would be doing the high ropes course. My experience of going to the ropes course was very enjoyable because it was a change of scenery from the college life and I got to be with the people who I first met here when I got to Elon. Since the ropes course adventure was later in the year, compared to others, we sort of already had a strong bond as a group. For me, it was amazing to see how far we have come as a group and as individuals since we have arrived at Elon. I remember when we all first met and barely knew each other’s names and
